Our team, the Rogers All Mountain Shredders (rams) is a composite team through the rogers Activity Center (RAC) open to students in Rogers Public Schools 6th grade to 12th grade who want to learn mountain biking skills. No experience necessary to be on our team. just Bring your bike, helmet, and a water bottle. The Rams are a Nica team and practice in accordance with NICA rules July through November.
This year we had student-athletes that represented RHHS, RHS, New Tech, Kirksey, Lingle, Oakdale, Elmwood, and homeschool.
We practice 3 days a week starting in July with our 1st of 4 races beginning in September.
This year the Rams placed 3rd in eureka springs, 1st in fort smith, 2nd in Bentonville, and 2nd in hot springs.
Each student-athlete accumulates points based on how they finish each race and the volunteer hours they put in.
the rams are 2nd place Arkansas state champions for NICA this year!
We are so proud of these kids and their hard work. our team is the team you see other teams coming over to hang out with because they are about building relationships and making everyone at every skill level feel included.
